Heritage Silver Spring

This super cool property posed an interesting design problem – blending the historic structure of the building with the new construction and interior renovations. We wanted to create something timeless but also something that was a little avant-garde.

The negative space of the icon creates an abstract ‘H’ form, while the positive space is a nod to the crown moulding throughout the historic building. We developed a repeating ‘H‘ pattern for the collateral pieces to complement the variety of fabrics and textures slated for the interior renovations.
